Live record · USGSReports quakes after they happen. Not an alert system.

For website owners

A live earthquake widget for your site

One line of HTML puts the last 30 days of earthquakes near any city on your page. It’s free, it updates every two minutes, and it needs no account.

How to add it

  1. Find your city on its earthquakes page. The embed address is the same path with /embed in front.
  2. Paste the snippet into your page and change the path to your city.
  3. Keep the link at the bottom of the widget. It credits the data and is what keeps this free.
<iframe src="https://quakewatch.beer/embed/us/california/los-angeles" width="360" height="430" style="border:0" loading="lazy" title="Recent earthquakes near Los Angeles"></iframe>

Works on any site that allows iframes. Data: USGS, public domain. Not an alert service.
